Beyond Imitation: Discovering Your Sound

I love how the argument about whether Paul wrote Hebrews comes down to one thing: his style of writing.

David had his style. Asaph had his. Ellen White had hers. Shakespeare had his. Luke and John had theirs. The list goes on.

The most important thing for any creative is to discover their own unique voice. Two people can say the same thing, but how one expresses it becomes their signature a sound so distinct that even generations later, people can recognize who said it.
